MacOS Sequoia, officially known as macOS 15, is compatible with a range of Apple Mac computers.
Specifically, the compatible devices are:
- iMac: 2019 and later, including iMac Pro 2017 and later.
- MacBook Air: 2020 and later.
- MacBook Pro: 2018 and later.
- Mac mini: 2018 and later.
- Mac Studio: 2022 and later.
- Mac Pro: 2019 and later.
If your device is eligible for the update you will automatically receive a notification about it in the system settings.
And also, if you go into your launchpad,you should see MacOS Sequoia installer there.
That’s very convenient because the installer was downloaded in the background, so when you actually decide to upgrade, you can just click on it and start straight away. Since it is nearly a 15 GB file, that would take some time to download.
